The financier purchased a smaller island - the Little St James - originally in the late 1990s, but subsequently obtained the more expansive Great St James in 2016 for a sum of $22.5 million.
The released images indicate he had formulated plans to transform the 161-acre island by erecting residences, an amphitheatre, an underwater office and a pool.
Marked on the drawing is a channel, a marine passage in the US Virgin Islands, marked on the south-eastern section.
This development map is annotated in notations in red and contains a legend detailing various areas of the property.
Accompanying the main plan are what look to be an additional nine site drawings and architectural plans, including designs for boat shelters.
